MACAO, May 20 (Xinhua) -- Visitor arrivals in Macao rose 15.2 percent month on month to 606,841 in April, the Macao Special Administrative Region's statistical agency said on Friday.
However, the figure represented a year-on-year drop of 23.7 percent, showed the latest report from the Statistics and Census Service.
Overnight visitors fell by 59.8 percent year on year to 180,938, whereas same-day visitors grew by 23.7 percent to 425,903.
In the first four months of 2022, Macao saw the number of visitor arrivals drop by 2.0 percent year on year to 2,483,688.
