Beneath the waves of the South China Sea lie enduring traces of China's ancient maritime legacy. The China Museum of the South China Sea displays over 3,000 artifacts. They include powder boxes, ceramics, and trade goods dating back more than 800 years, recovered from underwater archaeological sites. These relics offer concrete evidence of China's sustained navigation, trade, and presence in the region over centuries.
